Planning a visit to Great Sand Dunes National Park?
Spindrift Sandboards has you covered with high-quality sandboard and sandsled rentals perfect for riders of all ages and experience levels.
We make it easy to gear up and hit the dunes with fresh equipment, helpful instruction, and a convenient location right on Highway 160 in Blanca, Colorado.
Rental Rates
$20.00 per Sandboard or Sandsled (Daily Rate) + Tax
Rentals are good for the entire day.
Multi-day rentals available — perfect for extended adventures!
How to Rent
1. Make a Reservation:
We recommend booking in advance to ensure your gear is ready and waiting for you. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations guarantee availability. Please fill out the form below to start your reservation.
2. Receive an Invoice
We’ll send you a secure invoice through Square. This allows you to pay for your rental in advance and lock in your reservation.
3. Pick Up Your Gear:
We’re open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily during the season. Stop by our location just 5 miles from the park turn-off.
4. Ride the Dunes:
Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve — the tallest sand dunes in North America!
5. Easy Return:
Drop off your gear before we close at 6PM, or arrange for after-hours drop-off when you pickup your gear.
Things to Know Before You Ride
Bring plenty of water and sun protection — the dunes can get hot!
Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.
Follow all park guidelines and Leave No Trace principles.
